Rounds, sessions and cooldowns: how the POV game loop works

Most social apps want you scrolling forever. POV is the opposite. It's designed in rounds, with deliberate cooldowns between each session, so the moments you spend in the app feel like events instead of background noise.
Here's the structure: one round of POV is made up of 10 sessions. Each session is one POV — sent by a friend or randomly generated — voted on and revealed. After every session, there's a 30-minute cooldown before the next one can start.
If you can't wait, you can spend coins to skip the cooldown. Coins are earned by playing, voting, sending POVs, and winning sessions — or topped up in-app. Skipping is a real choice, not a reflex.
The cooldowns build anticipation. The round structure gives a clear arc. And the coin economy makes the choice to keep playing feel intentional rather than compulsive. POV is a game you play — not an app that plays you.
